Pictures in HTML messages If you want pictures in your HTML messages, enter their Internet paths into your HTML page. Tip1 Select Settings from the Tools menu and click the E-mail tab, then the Advanced tab. Activate the 'HTML messages' option, and PostCast will insert a notice into your HTML message, and which will be presented only to those clients whose E-mail programs are incapable of HTML display. This notice would be shown only to them. The others would not be in position to read it. Tip2 The HTML message can contain table column names and the program can import table data as from an ordinary text message. Just enter the field name in between brackets - []. If you have a column in a table named E-Mail, for example, enter [E-Mail] in your HTML page and the program will be aware that it must insert the corresponding value therein. Sending Text and HTML messages as one In order to support older e-mail clients which do not display HTML messages, perhaps you would want to send a common text together with an HTML message. Enter it in the Message Text section of the E-Mail Merge window. The text will be displayed at the head of the message, with the HTML part of the message below it.
