Import JobsAll settings related to data import from e-mail messages into your database can be saved as Import Job. Thanks to this option, data can be extracted from many different model messages respectively. In order to make clear what this really means, imagine a situation of having several different forms on your website. Every time a guest fills in a form to your e-mail account, a message carrying the entered data comes in. In case you have one form asking for a name and an e-mail address, and another one demanding other data, the incoming messages from both web forms would have different fields. In order to be able to import data from the messages sent by both web forms respectively, simply define two Import Jobs, a single one for each web form in turn with alternately defined fields, filters, etc.
While downloading PostCast will verify all Import Jobs for each message separately. If the message satisfies conditions of an Import Job from the list, the program will import the data. If no contained data is detected in the message, the program will proceed with the defined Import Job that follows. Data contained in one message can be imported into several tables if you define several almost identical Import Jobs. Click the 'Compare' tab, and within the 'Import data to table' - define various tables for each Import Job in turn.
